Yorkshire pudding
Ingredients
- 500ml milk
- 1 egg
- 100g plain flour
- pinch salt
Oven temperature: 200°C
Method
- Put flour and salt in bowl
- Make a hole in the middle
- Add the egg and 1 tablespoon milk
- Stir, gradually mixing in flour from the sides
- Gradually add more milk
- Keep stiring in the flour
- When all the flour is mixed in and there are no lumps add the rest of the milk
- Leave to stand
- Heat lard in tin until very hot
- Pour in mixture quickly and close oven door
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown
