Yorkshire pudding

Ingredients

Oven temperature: 200°C

Method

  1. Put flour and salt in bowl
  2. Make a hole in the middle
  3. Add the egg and 1 tablespoon milk
  4. Stir, gradually mixing in flour from the sides
  5. Gradually add more milk
  6. Keep stiring in the flour
  7. When all the flour is mixed in and there are no lumps add the rest of the milk
  8. Leave to stand
  9. Heat lard in tin until very hot
  10. Pour in mixture quickly and close oven door
  11. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown
